MasterPrep ("the Company") values your privacy and complies with the "Information and Communications Network Act." This Privacy Policy explains how we use and protect your personal information. Any updates to this policy will be announced on our website (or individually notified).

3. Retention and Usage Period of Personal Information


Personal information is generally deleted immediately after achieving the purpose of collection and use.
However, certain information may be retained as required by relevant laws for specified periods.

1) Information retained after member withdrawal:
- Retained items: name, ID, email address, address, phone number provided by the member
- Retention basis: To prevent re-registration of delinquent users, assist in dispute resolution, and aid in investigations
- Retention period: 1 year after member withdrawal

2) Retention of transaction-related information:
- Retained items: transaction history
- Retention basis: Based on Commercial Law and Consumer Protection Law in e-commerce
- Retention period: 5 years for records related to contract or withdrawal, 5 years for payment and goods supply, 3 years for consumer complaints and dispute resolution

4. Procedures and Methods for Destroying Personal Information


Personal information is destroyed immediately upon fulfilling its purpose. The destruction process is as follows:

1) Destruction Procedure
Information provided during registration, etc., is not transferred to a separate database and is destroyed after storage according to internal policies and relevant laws (refer to Retention and Usage Period).

2) Destruction Method
- Electronic files are permanently deleted using technical methods to prevent recovery.

5. Provision of Personal Information


Personal information is not shared externally unless the user has given prior consent or is required by law.

6. Outsourcing of Collected Personal Information


We do not outsource user information to external parties without user consent. If outsourcing is necessary, we will inform users and obtain consent in advance.

7. User and Legal Representative Rights and Exercise Methods

Users and their legal representatives may view or modify personal information related to themselves or children under 14 at any time, or request withdrawal of consent. Users can access, correct, or delete their information by clicking "Edit Profile" or "Delete Account" after verifying their identity. Requests may also be directed to the privacy officer via written, phone, or email contact.

Personal information under correction requests will not be used or shared until corrected. In cases where incorrect information has already been provided to a third party, we will promptly notify them of the correction.
